Founder of three x seven Jewelry
Award-Winning Designer

Born in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan, amidst its breathtaking natural landscapes and rich cultural traditions, Asuka Saito, the founder and award-winning designer of three x seven Jewelry, has always harbored a unique sensibility deeply rooted in Japanese aesthetics. This profound appreciation for Japan's vibrant nature and traditional cultures, offering a kaleidoscope of colors through the changing seasons, has significantly influenced her creative pursuits in the world of art and unique jewelry design from an early age.
Her commitment to ethical sourcing and the environment took her beyond the design table; In 2022, three x seven Jewelry became Fairmined licensed, and in 2023, Asuka visited Fairmined gold mines, meeting with the miners and witnessing the mining processes firsthand. These experiences have profoundly influenced her approach to jewelry making, ensuring that every piece of three x seven Jewelry not only embodies artistic excellence but also respects the people and the planet.
Starting her career in San Francisco at a long-standing jewelry company, Asuka's designs have gained international recognition. With a vision to foster harmonious development with society, she founded three x seven Jewelry, merging modern design with an unwavering commitment to quality, sustainability, and the well-being of communities involved in the production process.
Through three x seven Jewelry, Asuka aspires to make a meaningful impact, crafting pieces that uphold the values of environmental consciousness, social responsibility, and timeless beauty, aiming for a brighter future for all.
"... Every piece we create is a step towards a world where beauty and ethics shine together, illuminating smiles across the globe."

Philosophy
three x seven Jewelry is a San Francisco-based sustainable jewelry brand, dedicated to creating pieces that embody beauty, emotion, and ethical values. At the heart of our efforts is a desire to deliver jewelry that brings smiles to everyone involved—from the hands that craft each piece to the lives they touch.
Our ethos is defined by two core principles:
- Connection Through Jewelry: We believe in crafting pieces that do more than just adorn. Our jewelry serves as a bridge, connecting the unseen emotions with the tangible beauty of each piece. It's not just an accessory; it's a repository of personal stories, emotions, and meanings, making it a cherished part of the owner's life. This connection is our way of spreading smiles, ensuring that every piece not only shines but also brings joy and significance to its wearer.
- Ethical and Harmonious Development: Our commitment extends beyond aesthetics. We are dedicated to ethical practices that positively impact people, society, and the environment. From careful selection of low-impact materials to ensuring a positive working environment for those who mine and craft our jewelry, we aim to tackle social issues and promote a sustainable and harmonious future. It's our belief that a truly beautiful piece of jewelry is one that contributes to the happiness and well-being of all those it touches.
"...We provide jewelry that brings smiles to the faces of everyone involved."
Primarily Handcrafted in San Francisco studio
Located in San Francisco, our main jewelry studio at 1737 Post Street Suite 303 San Francisco, CA 94115 is where the magic happens—most of our exquisite jewelry pieces are meticulously handcrafted locally.
Our dedicated sourcing team tirelessly seeks the right partners, ensuring we collaborate exclusively with suppliers and manufacturers committed to strict ethical standards for sourcing both mined and lab-created gemstones.
Craftsmanship
At three x seven Jewelry, we take pride in offering jewelry that embodies exceptional craftsmanship and creativity.
Most of our pieces are designed and crafted in San Francisco, with final finishing done meticulously in our local studio.
In addition, we are dedicated to bringing the beauty of Japanese craftsmanship and unique design to the world. We carefully source special jewelry directly from trusted Japanese designers and artisans, ensuring each piece carries the essence of their expertise and artistry.
More than just sourcing, we engage directly with these creators, learning about their techniques and stories to maintain transparency and authenticity in our collection.
three x seven Jewelry focuses on thoughtfully crafted, made-to-order jewelry over mass production, while also offering select pieces for immediate purchase.
By blending the precision of Japanese craftsmanship with sustainable and ethical values, we create jewelry that not only shines but also carries deep meaning, becoming a cherished part of one’s life.
Corporate Responsibility
At three x seven Jewelry, we are committed to more than just creating beautiful jewelry—we strive to make a positive impact on People, Planet, and Profit.
Born and raised in Japan, I have always been deeply inspired by the country’s dedication to craftsmanship, precision, and timeless aesthetics. This philosophy is at the heart of our brand, shaping how we approach sustainability and ethical responsibility.
By embracing the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) framework, we ensure that our jewelry is not only ethically crafted and environmentally responsible but also contributes to a sustainable future for all.
- People(社会) – Supporting fair labor practices, preserving traditional craftsmanship, and ensuring ethical working conditions.
- Planet(環境) – Using recycled metals, lab-grown diamonds, and implementing carbon offset initiatives to minimize our ecological footprint.
- Profit(経済) – Maintaining a sustainable business model that ensures fair pricing and long-term value for our customers and partners.
Through our seven key initiatives, we integrate these three principles into every piece we create, ensuring that our jewelry tells a story not just of beauty, but of responsibility and purpose.
Our Seven Commitments:
1. 100% Recycled Metals – Reducing environmental impact and preserving precious resources.
2. Fairmined Certified Gold – Supporting responsible small-scale mining communities by ensuring fair wages, safe working conditions, and environmentally responsible mining practices.
3. Fair Trade Materials – Promoting sustainable industries and ensuring fair compensation for artisans. We also prioritize material origin transparency, ensuring that our resources are ethically sourced and traceable.
4. Lab-Grown Diamonds – Offering completely traceable, ethical diamonds that minimize environmental and social impact.
5. Low-Impact Packaging & Carbon Offsetting – Using minimal packaging materials to reduce waste. Since eliminating CO₂ emissions from shipping entirely is challenging, we actively offset our carbon footprint through donations to forest conservation organizations.
6. Preserving & Supporting Japanese Craftsmanship (Sustainable Craftsmanship) – Partnering with skilled Japanese artisans, ensuring fair pricing that reflects the true value of their exceptional craftsmanship and refined design, while preserving traditional techniques for future generations.
7. Transparency & Ethical Crafting – We are dedicated to enhancing supply chain transparency by sharing insights into where and how our jewelry is crafted. We continuously seek ways to provide meaningful information, allowing customers to make informed and ethical choices.
At three x seven Jewelry, we are dedicated to creating sustainable, ethical, and beautifully crafted jewelry that not only shines on the outside but also carries a meaningful story within.
Beyond jewelry creation, we actively support initiatives that promote fair labor, ecological preservation, and community well-being, aligning with organizations committed to making a positive impact on people and the planet.
